Which model answers
You talk to one model. A few smaller jobs use their own models, so a long conversation does not have to spend the main model on every chore.
The model you talk to is main. The others are helpers: one that reads the project, one that checks safety, one that shortens a long conversation, and one that plans.

main is the model that answers you.
awareness reads the project and keeps a short picture of it.
safeguard is the extra check on whether a request or an action looks safe. Normal and Auto can use it. Yooloo skips it.
compactor writes the summary when you shorten a long conversation.
planner is the model used when koma is drafting a plan.
