The package is koma_sdk. It needs Python 3.11 or newer.

No process starts until a method needs one. The normal arguments are sdk and serve. There is no shell.

probe reads hello and closes. By default it requires create, resume, state, and detach. It does not require configure. Pass required_capabilities when you need to refuse an older binary.

configure on the client connects, sends the call, and closes. It does not bind a session.

create and resume return a Session. Use it as an async context manager. detach asks the adapter to exit. close closes the pipes.

events is a single async iterator. A second consumer is not supported. wait_turn polls state and does not steal events from that iterator.

The event queue holds 1 to 256 frames. The default is 256. Past that, the client reports overflow, clears the queue, and the next read returns a resynced state. Overflow does not fail the request that was in flight.

The request timeout defaults to 30 seconds. A timeout after the bytes may have been written is delivery unknown. Do not send that mutation again.
